Taught by one of Guyana's leading customs & trade facilitation professionals.

Sean Nicholas Dublin leads every Lasedel Academy programme personally. He brings over three decades of customs brokerage, international trade, shipping, logistics and compliance experience — as Licensed Customs Broker, Shipping Agent, Trade Consultant and author — into every classroom.

Sean is one of a small number of Caribbean practitioners accredited by both UNCTAD to deliver trade facilitation training and the Guyana Revenue Authority to train professionals in ASYCUDA World processing. He has led national-scale training consultancies including the Electronic Single Window for Trade Use programme delivered with the IDB and Guyana's Ministry of Tourism, Industry & Commerce.

When does the next intake start?
Our upcoming intake begins on Sunday 7 September 2026. Registration closes on 30 August 2026 and class size is capped at 15 students to keep teaching hands-on.

Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Every programme fee is available in three instalments — first instalment at registration, second at mid-programme, third before final module. Terms are outlined at confirmation.
03.
Do I need experience to enrol?
The Level 1 Certificate in Customs Brokerage has no prerequisite. Intermediate and Advanced programmes assume prior completion of the Level 1 certificate or equivalent working experience — we'll confirm fit during registration.
04.
Are classes online or in-person?
Currently all programmes are delivered in-person in Georgetown, Guyana. This is deliberate — the case-based practical work is difficult to replicate over video. Corporate in-house programmes can be delivered at your site.
05.
Do you help with job placement?
We do not run a formal placement programme, but graduates are often hired directly by companies that recognise Lasedel training — including businesses working with our consultancy. Kadisha Nero's story reflects a common outcome.

Can my company sponsor training for a team?
